Single Handed is a story about murder and crime. Once you get into the story it is very difficult to put down. The characters and settings are perfectly described and it will leave you wondering what will happen next. Didn't take long to read but it didn't take away from the story. If you are into crime novels, you must give this a chance.

"Single Handed" written by Joseph M. Kress is a wonderful story of the drug war in the United States. It is a well written and compelling story which makes the readers wish to become an officer in order to remove the abuse of drugs and alcohol in the society. The author beautifully describes his experience as an officer in the police department who finds drug dealers and rapist to make the society peaceful and enjoyable. Readers will enjoy reading every page of this book.

Mr. Kress saw the results of drug abuse and addiction firsthand, not only in what it does to the user but what it can do to them people around them and those who are trying to stop the drug flow. Because of this, he dedicated his life to making sure the drugs stopped, and the streets of the United States were safe. But what he found was that the system of fighting the drug war is so corrupt and slow that it made winning almost impossible.

I have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Joseph Kress and hearing this story in person! He is the most strong, humble, kind-hearted person ever! He is such an inspiration and an amazing person! He is definitely one of God’s soldiers and nothing can beat him down! His character is amazing and how he became a coo due to his brother’s murder is such an inspiration! Also he stills continues to fight to keep Pennsylvanian away from drugs with his amazing drug awareness program! I am honored to know him and call him a friend! Give this book a read! This is truly based on a true story!
